Summary

I made this switchplate and connection to have a handy way of connecting and controlling things like the LED's and motor cooling fans on my Prusa Mendel.

Instructions

Print the switch plate, mounting clamp, and as many of the connectors as you need.
The buss bar and connectors are sized for 24 gauge wire. I use solid wire on the buss bar and stranded wire in the connectors.
Assemble things as shown in the pictures. Wrap the buss wire through the holes on each end of the buss bars and make sure it's nice and tight across the top of the bar.
You may need to clean out the holes in the connectors with a solid wire or small drill. make sure the wire is exposed on the inside of the connector and the connectore seats tightly on the buss bar.

I used a #4x1/2" sheet metal screw to connect the switch plate to the bar clamp, and 3mm capscrew, nut, and washers to secure the bar clamp on my printer.

The bar clamp also makes a great general purpose mounting bracket for things like LED's.
