KODO Dromida quadcopter prop guard
The prop guards that come with the KODO Dromida quadcopter don't seem to be very sturdy. Or maybe I drive the thing like a drunken unicyclist. Either way, I ended up breaking one during a flight and needed to replace it. After all, it's better to replace the fenders than the props.
This one will need a little filing- CAREFUL filing- around the bottom end of the cowling that fits around the motor. It's supposed to be tight so it doesn't spin at inopportune times.
If you need this thing, you will probably need four of them. The finished part is sturdier than the originals, which makes them heavier and upsets the balance of the bird unless you replace all four.
As always, my original FreeCad drawings are included for you to modify, admire, or ridicule.
