Ryobi Miter Saw Insert TS1340
A zero clearance insert to replace the original equipped with the Ryobi TS1340. Sized for standard 10inch saw blade.
The throat width matching a blade is not the only attribute that gives rise to zero clearance. The height of this model matches with the surface of the cutting base. The original is wide and sat approximately 0.4mm lower than the base. Those gaps cause the work piece to fray when cut, especially on thin non ward woods.
The zero clearance object tested just fine with a toothed blade. Don't know how PLA will hold up to a metal cut-toff blade so I added a throated object.
Reason:
Original melted. Also prefer zero clearance.
Objects:
- Zero clearance insert to be cut after print.
- Throated insert (1/10 inch) for metal cut-off blades.
Printer settings:
- Resolution - 0.2mm height
- Material - PLA+, or any
- Orientation - Chamfer side down for a nice textured look from a textured build plate.
