Laser cut Playmat for Pokemon TCG

My laser cutter is only 400x400mm, so I had to section the pieces to fit my bed, it conveniently sectioned into quarters. You could section it differently if you prefer you'll just have to rejoin paths.

I cut from 3mm ply, and manually cut an additional square of ply to be the full size, then attached the laser cutter pieces on top. This enabled the assembly, and also gives a nice 6mm thickness to the finished product.

In the pictures, you'll see it has been painted with a subtle colouring effect, this is just very watered down acrylic, I like the effect - there is some colour to it, but you can still see the wood grain, it looks a bit like a stained wood or an inlay of different timbers.
