Optical punch case
This is a more compact case for the Grizzly H5781 optical punch. While the flat case it came with was nice, it was a bit bulky.
This compact case is centered around the main cartridge. On one side the markers and punches go in while the base fits on the other side.
I did not want the bits to fall off when the case is flipped to open the base. Hence there's a screwed baffle to prevent the bits from falling off.
The flappy rubbery thing below the baffle is kitchen shelf liner piece to prevent the acrylic lenses from being scratched by the rough PLA
The color scheme was not by choice. It was what ever filament I had lying around.
I used tinkercad for development and Bambu labs P1P for printing. The filament was bambulabs matt PLA filament.
