YoYo - The way it should be.
My daughter found one of my old wooden yoyo's, you know the real ones from the 90's, not these weird new ones with bearings and whatever.
She wanted one of her own, so I set out to make one as I am on a mission to hone my 3D design skills.
Pretty simple design, print two of the Body and one Dowel, simply press the dowel into one body and press the other body onto the other end, they are friction fitment and they won't come apart. 3mm separation in the middle allows for any string to work, even those new fangled ones however they may slip if put on the way the instructions say and not come back up properly.
Open the looped end and slip the knotted loop end through then tighten around the dowel center in the yoyo. I will provide some photos showing how to do it, I am constantly testing this out and my daughter is losing her little mind over this project.
I will provide some photos of the finished product as well, and it will likely improve as I change and modify it to work better.
Stay tuned for more!
