(Herb) Grinder Friction-Ring

Most multipart grinder feature a friction O-ring designed to enhance the smoothness of the grinding process. However, the ring may wear out over time. There's no need to purchase a new grinder or endure subpar grinding experiences for years.

To address this, I've crafted a straightforward OpenSCAD design for a replacement ring. You can easily adjust the model to match the specific measurements—thickness, outer diameter, and inner diameter—of your grinder's ring seat. Simply input these dimensions and print the replacement with your 3D printer!

Given its small size, the print can be completed in approximately 1 to 4 minutes, depending on your printer settings and the print configuration. This quick print time allows you to experiment with different tolerances to find the perfect fit.

When viewing in OpenSCAD don't worry about the artifacts using preview (F5). Rendering (F6) or exporting removes those.

Enjoy your revitalized grinding experience! :)
