Shutter Shades
As a beginner in both 3d printing and modeling, I wanted to challenge myself by participating in the Elegoo x All3DP Summer Design Contest. I wanted to put together the different things I've learned so far and create something that truly embodies the essence of the challenge. I felt the best way I could do that was to make something summer-themed and showcase the versatility of 3d printing. I wanted to both optimize the design for print orientation to completely exclude usage of supports and also incorporate the use of print-in-place hinges to demonstrate that capability of 3d printing. I hope this helps inspires others to continue to challenge themselves.
