GI Joe 6" (Classified) Series Hexagon Stand

I just recently got into G.I. Joe again and found out about these great action figures by Hasbro. Looking at images online, I found an array of great looking led enhanced dioramas and glancing sideways I had this empty glow in the dark gaming pc.

I wanted to prop two figures in battle on my graphics card and needed something to help them keeping their pose. Printing the stand by Hawangdo did not really help, since my blister card versions did not grab onto the peg.

This remix remedies the problem. My action figures all feature a hexagon receptacle underneath their heels so I changed the form of the peg.

Testing showed that one receptacle is wider than the other. Left and right are not identical with one side measuring 4.4mm and the other 4.5mm.

Depending on the pose you want to display, you'll need either one or the other.

After selecting the poses I secured the stand on the backplate of the graphics card with some adhesive putty that can be easily removed with IPA.

Now Snake Eyes can duke it out with Red Ninja under neon lights =)
