Summary

This jig is supposed to help with stabilizing the watch case and to protect outer ring from scratching. I have Seiko 6139 from 1969 (Cevert), the mineral glass part number is 330W18GN and it sticks out quite a lot from the outer ring, so the printed part fits nicely. You can put it on and polish the glass with water sandpaper starting with low grit to higher.
