Easy Procedure to make your 3D print water proof -
stays food proof, if it was before!

Instructions

You need

Candle Wax (Paraffine)
Heater gun
metallic bowl
old tooth brush
Bucket of Water( fire safety, just to be sure)

This is what you do

Make sure, your 3D print is dry and clean
Melt the wax with the heater gun, until it got good liquid
Use the Tooth brush to cover all surface of your 3D print with wax
You might need to grab it on the other side in order not to cover your fingers
*Once all surface is covered ,your 3D print will look very unequally covered with Wax
Use the Heater gun on your 3D print very carefully in order not to burn it. Work from top to bottom and enable the extra wax to flow down off your 3D print. This is the dangerous step. Hot wax together with an catalysator might catch fire!
Heat up your 3D print again and use a paper towel to polish away the last wax arrears

Finally your print is still water proof. For me it appears, that it can even be used above wax's melting temperature.
As Paraffine is used in medicine (fight blockage of digestion) its quite likely that paraffine does not harm your body
