Leigh Dovetail Jig D4R to D4R Pro finger hole upgrade jig
This is my attempt at making the Leigh Dovetail D4R to D4R Pro Guide Finger Modification jig (instead of making out of wood) ...
In order to produce single pass half-blind dovetails on the Leigh dovetail jig, a 9/64 in hole must be drilled in the tail end of each guide finger at a specific location. The procedure is outlined on the Leigh Tools website (now owned by Lee Valley Tools). After purchasing this kit from Lee Valley, I had to construct this jig out of wood but opted to do on my Bambu Lab X1C ... why not? The documentation and jig upgrade is available at the link :
