Customizable Pull-Apart Capsule Box

A parametric pull-apart capsule generator for the kind of little parts boxes that things like contractor bits come in. Ideal for keeping small tool bits safe in your bag.

TIPS: when customizing, adjust the detent period and nest ratio such that the outer (shorter) half of the capsule is at a wide point at the end to fit easily over the inner (taller) half.

Printing with either 1 or 2 walls is recommended. PETG or other thin flexible materials are best.
