Tu-22K Blinder-B

I'm sure this isn't news to anyone else, but 3D printing is awesome for expensive/rare/unusual/hard-to-find aircraft models.

I took JackTheTinkerer's generally excellent Tu-22 model and tweaked it a bit.

  • Scaled to 1:96
  • Tweaked the engine nacelles (intake and exhaust)
  • Added a radome for the Blinder-B's Leninets PN ('Down Beat') radar
  • Designed an AS-4 Kitchen (posted separately) to hang in the garage with the plane

Split and sized for print on an Anycubic Kobra2 (220x220x250 envelope). Assembly is fairly straightforward (alignment pins included in the model) but I'll try to throw together some assembly instructions and post them here as well.

EDIT: Added a pic... printed, assembled, sanded, and painted in a HIGHLY anachronistic Su-34 Fullback-inspired color scheme.
