Multiport Service Terminal (MST) Fiber Stripper and Peeler

The blade used a section of the break away blades for a utility knife. Use the back side and not the blade side. It is less likely to break easily. One tool is used to drag along the side to put a slit into the plastic sheath to make it easy to peel apart. The other is to cut around the sheath to create a point to stop the peeling of the sheath.

One tool is to remove the Messenger cable, the other two are to put a slit on each side of the fiber cable one side at a time or the tool for slit both sides a once.

You push the end of the fiber cable through the bottom of the dual peeler (non blade side) and the once you reached your desired distance, you squeeze the tool as hard as you need to cut through the sheath. When I hear the blades hit the fiber rods, I know I am far enough into the sheath.
