BSP-Y01 Replacement Knob and Weight Box

The knob that comes with the BSP-Y01 is cheap, hollow feeling, it comes in two separate parts that feel like there is a bit of a burr on them, and the whole knob can come off in your hand, and I think is generally just way too small to feel good to use.

So this is what I think is a much better sized knob for the device. In terms of the size of the head but also the length of the stalk. I made it so it would feel more like a proper arcade controller for a kid, but I think its just big enough that it becomes practical for an adult to use it.

It also feels pretty good to use the "Fuzzy Skin" print options in Cura so it has more grip to it. The settings I used are included in the images. And that was printed with 0.12 layer height.
The flat topped knob will likely print fine upside down, but the rest are probably best printed the right way up, with the hole at the bottom, will print fine with no supports but with the bottom being so narrow you may be best adding at least a 20line/wall brim to keep the print from dislodging.

I also felt like the whole controller was way too light, and would be too easy to move around on a surface, and made it feel cheaper. So i've also made a small box that can be used to add extra weight inside. I used some stones and pva glue (Use multiple thin layers of pva as it takes ages to dry if put on too thick). The base layer is only 0.28mm to save plastic, so if you use a thin glue you may need to do a thin layer of glue first to seal the print. Something like epoxy would probably leak out through the bottom layer. Whatever you use, just be careful it doesn't stick up too high above the height of the walls of the box, as it may not fit back together.

The 4 screws to open the case are under the foam pad/feet, and there is a ribbon cable that can be disconnected if you don't want to risk tearing it.
Just make sure to attach it securely inside, i'm using some 1mm double sided foam adhesive.
