Base plate for Katsu, Makita, Chinese routers
I got a cheap router on AliExpress wiht a brushless motor that is a Makita knockoff.
Modified it to Parkside x20V batteries and used the base from Trobinou to make it fit to the transparent plastic base that comes with these routers.
As the base felt a bit wobblly with the weight of big battery on the router i added some reinforcement and i also made an locking pin into the knob as i prefer it to not rotate. All done with Tinkercad.
I will add threaded inserts (M6/M4) into the transparent base instead of using the self tapping screws that it came with,
There are two versions one for countersunk head screws likt the makita base has and one for the screws the base is delivered with (Kantenfräsplatte_V2_cyl.stl).
The transparent bases are cheap at AliExpress so i bought another one and keep it on the base just becaus i am lazy. ;)
If you print this, add more layers to bottom/top and walls to increase stiffness. I used 6 layers, a wall count of 6 and an infll of 40%. No supports needed.
