cable splice shield

This is a joiner shield to protect a spliced cable joint more than heat shrink alone.
This won't hold itself together, but you can add some heat shrink over the top to clamp it together.
You can also add hotglue to the ends of the cable for additional strain relief.
additionally, line the inside of the protector with copper tape, or aluminium foil to help continue the cable's shielding.
