Reinforced Antennas for Easier and More Reliable Printing
When I went to print Gloomeskk's incredible model I had to scale it down 50% for my purposes. 90% of the details still printed perfectly but the dual-wired antenna proved too small and kept failing or breaking when removing them from the supports.
I've reinforced the antennas by combining the two "wires" into one thicker cable that is less likely to break and is easier to paint.
For printing I sliced the file at about a 30-degree angle, aligning the flat face of the "wedge" section with the print bed. For supports, I used tree supports which I very slowly clipped off as the parts were still very fragile
Hopefully this helps anyone else who's been having trouble printing these parts
