GimBase - Gimbal base for 50x50 3M Diamond Retro reflective tape for Total Station Control points

Based on the idea of the SMR's in setting out, I've been working on a gimbal system for Total Station Reflective tape targets.

At the moment it is a 1 dimensional gimbal: I'm working on a 2 dimensional base gimbal to be able to turn the target into all 2D directions and still be centered.

DWG added for the enthusiasts out there to be able to enhance it on the condition that you link your derived design to the Setting Out/Dimensional Control group here on TV.

All you need extra:

• 50x50 mm. retro reflective targets from Northern Survey Supplies in Inverness, Scotland or elsewhere
• 2x 32mm diameter x 3mm thick circular magnets, your online supplier will have them.
