T Gauge 1:450 - Class 55 Deltic
A heavy modification of Innards' excellent Deltic model. Adapted for T gauge / 1:450, and scaled to fit the 6-axle 21 metre chassis (015-6AX) available from tgauge.com. Print at 100%; the shell press-fits snugly to the chassis as designed.
Resin printing only for obvious reasons! Be very careful with your supports; the cab roof especially near the windows is thin and best to avoid putting supports close by. Print at a 12-15 degree tilt for best results per my experiments; support the edges of the shell only, you can get away with nothing on the internal overhang, otherwise you will break the cab windows when trying to remove it haha.
Three versions: one in generic BR livery (shown in the photos below), one without the BR arrows and with the early style frontv(eg for the green and green original livery), and one adapted to represent 55019 as on display at York.
Painting is tricky but doable. Tip - Citadel 'Stegadon Scale Green' is a very close match to BR Blue. For the windows, I use Micro Kristal Klear.
