8-Well and 12-Well Magnetic Bead Separator

These magnetic bead separators for 8-well and 12-well strip tubes. I made these to be used with 8mm or 15mm magnets for AMPure and/or Streptavidin bead cleanup. Here's what you will need to purchase:

12-Well (15mm) --> 15x3mm neodymium magnets (12 total) or 15x2mm (18 total)
12-Well (8mm) --> 8x3mm neodymium magnets (24 total) or 8x2mm (36 total)
8-Well (15mm) --> 15x3mm neodymium magnets (8 total) or 15x2mm (12 total)
8-Well (15mm) --> 8x3mm neodymium magnets (16 total) or 8x2mm (24 total)

Notes:
-The thicker 3mm seemed to work a bit better. I payed ~$8 for these.
-You will need to glue in some sections of magnets to keep them stationary while inserting the rest. They like to jump around a lot!
-Do NOT heat around magnets as they will lose strength.
