IIc Style Keycap - Alps Stem

An Apple IIc style keycap I designed for a keyboard I built. (Keeb.io Iris) They have Alps-style stems because apparently I just have to do everything the hard way.

It's not an exact duplicate, but it's pretty close. I designed it by eye since I didn't have an original one laying around. It's symmetrical and unranked. Well suited for an ortho keyboard, alternative layout, etc.

Printing keycaps is a bit fraught. I went through a lot of trial and error before I got them to print well. I got the best results by standing them on a corner at a 45 degree angle. Even on my little Mars 2 printer, you can fit about 30 on the bed. So they don't take too long to print.

They look pretty ugly in the pic, but much better in person. I mixed colored mica powder into my resin to add a sparkle. It works pretty well, but it photographs horribly.
