Star Trek - Constellation Class - TOS 'Prototype' resized 1:2500
Taking the TOS Constellation class model from Outcastrc at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2156109, i've resized to 1:2500 and sliced the saucer section to expand it's depth to match the TNG Constellation class model saucer depth, as offered by CaptainMojo at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4917156.
I've resized/confirmed sizing of the TNG Constellation model to 1:2500 scale, using the model length conversion of 310 metres for the TNG version, converting to 124mm. The TOS overall model length scale/conversion was then corrected to match overall width of the saucer section, relative to the TNG model.
This modification is based upon the Premise that the TOS Constellation class was the 'Prototype' for the later TNG version that actually saw screen time. TOS Model is resized to reflect the larger cylindrical engine nacelles as used in the assumed 'Prototype', relative to rest of Starship, which would still share rough saucer size parameters, as compared to the TNG version. I hope that makes it as clear as mud.
As such, it certainly doesn't tweak my OCD near as hard, when i'm making visual comparisons in my suspended diorama world of 1:2500 star trek models.
This is my first formal attempt to 'correct' a model, using Flashprint to correct, only.
Both TOS and TNG versions included in file.
