Tamiya Compatible Low Boy Trailer

Many parts were modified to have captive nuts, to aid construction, as they were difficult to access nyloc nuts.
The original trailer did not have the rear chassis supports (crossmembers) these were adapted from another source with a single fixing point to have triple fixing holes.
Front and rear mount adaptors have been squared off the the edges extended to aid in keeping the side rails straight when assembling, there is also a drilling and cutting jig for 15x20mm aluminium angle used in construction.
Double mudguards modified for width and hole position have been added.
Wiring channels added above the trailer centre supports.
Rear framerails have had captive nutz added, stretched and rear bumper mount changed to accept a different rear bumper/tail lights.
Floor panels rotated 90 degrees, so the latt effect is now side to side instead of lengthways, also made 1mm thicker to add strength.
New axles made with better looking mounts for the suspension.
I bought the wheels and made the trailer hubs, the hubs can take the axspeed aluminium rims, but the M2 Socket Cap screws to mount, will be ever so slightly angled if you do this, as they were only intended for the printed rims.

other parts required:
M3 nuts and bolts, various lengths - i used A2 Stainless Steel
M5 Stainless Steel threaded rod - i used 200mm length, cut to size and grind a flat in the centre of the rod for the locking grub screw needed for the axle (im sure you can work it out)

Chassis Front Mount Adapter - New v2.stl - widened the side returns to match the rear

Uploaded new extended rear chassis frame rails - it was pointed out to me that i missed them on the initial upload

More photos added, showing the older v1 front and rear parts and rails, the rails being, 15x20mm aluminium angle, the drilling jig ensures the rails are cut square and the holes are the correct way round for the fitment.
