New Glenn (1:100) with retractable legs
This is a Remix of Celeste_El's excellent model, with significant additions:
1: I added retractable fully mechanized legs. The legs can be stowed in flight position or extended and hold the rocket in standing position.
2: I improved the profile of the fins, adding the taper and curved edges they have in reality.
3: I improved the fairing section curve for a more natural interface between the straight and curved sections.
4: I added stencils for all the logos in both 3D and 2D printable form.
Instructions:
The legs mechanisms require high precision and accuracy, so they need to be printed in a good FDM printer at 0.12mm or less layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle, or in an SLA printer (with some strong resin, since these are small parts which need to hold the standing rocket's weight).
To finish the print you will need about 30cm of 1mm metal rod (I used https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B491L6LV which I already had at hand) to use as axles for the mechanical parts.
I didn't add any clearance to the leg parts, so you might need to add your own or do some sanding depending on your printer's tolerances.
Assemble as per the pictures.
I included pictures and SVGs for the logos, as well as 3D stencils for airbrush painting. You can either print them on decal paper (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Hayes-Paper-Waterslide-Water-Slide-Transparent/dp/B077TMFVL9) and then transfer them to the model after painting, or you can airbrush them using the provided 3D stencils (though you might want to use a SLA printer for that, especially for the tiny feather, for which there's no decal option since it's white and people normally don't have white ink in their printers :-)).
