Parametric T-Slot Table

Parametric T-Slot Table.

Background:
My Parkside bandsaw can only hold relative long pieces (> 100 mm) in its vise grip. Often I have quite short work pieces (e.g. 50 mm long) that I need to machine. This parametric T-Slot Table with length 150 mm can be hold firmly in the vise grip and the short work piece can now be hold firmly with the standard M10/12mm T-Slot hardware that I already own for my milling machine.

Of course it is possible to machine this T-Slot table out of one big piece of metal, but I decided to use the metal and tools I have on hand to build the table out of 4 separate pieces.

Required machined (or 3D printed) parts:

  • Bed_Bottom.stl (1x)
  • Bed_MidTop.stl (1x)
  • Bed_Side.stl(2x)

Required parts:

  • hex screw M5x16 (15x)

Optional parts:

  • Alignment pins (diameter 5 mm)
