Washington Monument
My son had a cub scout activity to make a project celebrating an American icon. We had recently visited the Washington Monument and we had recently gotten a 3D printer so this was obvious. The most fun was researching the parameters of the real thing and then scaling them down to create a 6" model. He's in 3rd grade, so some of the math was a little beyond him, but I like to introduce him to these subjects. He picks up a lot of it.
This is a quick, easy print with not a lot of detail. But it's perfectly proportioned to a scale factor of 1:.0009015 a little clunky but that makes it 6" lol
