Milwaukee Fastback 6 in 1 Folding Utility Knife (1505) Sheath with belt clip
I was getting impatient with the belt clip on the 6 in 1 Fastback on my tool belt. So I decided to design a sheath for easy retrieval and storage. I don't use the 6 in 1 Fastback for EDC, it lives on my tool belt so a slim and compact sheath weren't high on the design criteria.
The Sheath requires the tool's belt clip to be removed. Two bits of filament and located behind the belt clip mounting screw to stop the screw from fouling the opening mechanism of the knife.
Retention of the tool is achieved by the deploy button applying pressure to the inside of the sheath and a bump on the knife body locating in a hole on the sheath. It has a flared point of entry for easily removal and placement.
I used Mussy's MHR Quick Release Molle Clip as a belt clip, I remixed one of their designs to fit the sheath. It works really well.
I printed the sheath with the open end on the build plate and the clip laying on it's long side as pictured.
I hope you find this useful.
