Sci-Fi Glowing Alien Egg Lamp – Snap-Together Design

Hi everyone! This is my first upload to Thingiverse! I needed a new desk lamp and decided to create an alien/sci-fi-inspired glowing egg. The result is a snap-together egg that fits a small LED and rests on a scalable base.

The egg prints in two halves and snaps together. For the light source, I used an LED with a Bluetooth remote. Since not everyone may want a hole in their egg, I simply drilled a small hole in the bottom after printing, inserted the LED inside one half, snapped it shut, and ran the power cord through the hole. Alternatively, you could use a battery-operated puck light, as the egg can be opened again to change batteries.

This is my first full CAD design and Thingiverse post, so I appreciate any feedback! It should print well, but let me know if you run into any issues.
