Helsinki + expansion 1 retail edition board game insert organizer

Fits the base Helsinki game and expansion 1 retail versions (cardboard tiles).

My family enjoys the Queen Games polyomino board game, Helsinki, with and without the expansion. Unfortunately, the retail version has no real storage solution other than the box and zip lock bags. Therefore, I made this storage solution. I decided not to keep the cardboard insert that was included. Lots of extra space so it needed a couple of fillers to keep stuff from moving around. I am happy with it. If you want to save on filament you will need to create holes or diamond patterns to reduce filament. I didn't care enough to bother. Hope you enjoy it. No lid lift. Allows sleeved cards. Can be stored sideways. With regards to the card boxes. One makes it easy to dispense cards (the draw pile) and has one side completely open. I made a second card box to be used in game for the discard pile.

With regard to the base game color tile holders I decided to leave the single of each shape deeper in the well (same depth as the other tile wells with space for three tiles) rather than flush with the surface as an easy reminder, in game, that there is only one of that tile. If you dislike this, I could easily adjust that tile is also flush with the top.
