Cover Slip Holder for Adhesion Treatments

This holder is designed to securely keep microscope cover slips in an upright (vertical) position. Such orientation is essential when applying an adhesive coating to cover slips—for example, when using the chromium potassium sulfate (chrome alum) protocol. The base of the holder includes drainage holes, allowing excess adhesive solution to flow out freely.

Version 2 update:
The second version of the holder features integrated supporting legs and a slight tilt of the cover slips. This modification ensures that wet cover slips consistently lean toward one side, preventing them from sticking to each other due to surface tension. As a result, individual slips remain separated during processing, improving coating uniformity and handling reliability.
