Belt Tensioner Belt Guide with Bearings (for Playseat Challenge)

Version 2:

Updated version utilizing the belt guide from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6469577
It uses the shape of the playseat challenge to fit snuggly and the guide is now horizontal.

Remember to print it mirrored for the right side.
I used PLA and printed it with supports as seen in the image.

Hardware:
For one guide:
1x M8 80mm screw
1x M8 nut (not really needed)
7x Bearing (8x22x7)

Modify for any seat
I included a version without the cutout so you can make it fit any chair following these steps using tinkercad:

  1. Get image of your belt holes of your chair. Ideally it uses no perspective view. I just googled the chair and browsed the images (e.g. for playseat challenge: https://static.prod.ecom.mueller.de/products/8717496873026/8717496873026_5.jpg)
  2. Cut out at least one of the holes and safe them as png
  3. Convert png to svg. E.g. by using an online service
  4. Import the svg in tinkercad (tinkercad is free, you just need an account)
  5. Scale the model based on a key measurement you can make. I used the distance between the two holes.
  6. Import the model without the cutoff
  7. Place it on the position you want to have it in the chair hole
  8. Subtract chair hole model from the belt guide modle
  9. You are done! Just hit export and enjoy your new belt guide. Feel free to share them so other can utilze them as well
