Here is a Playmobil Roman Ballista

I´ve use black and brown filaments to simulate wood and iron materials.

You will need a long metal shaft (4mm) thick as a shaft for the charriot and wheels, and natural fibers to make the ballista torsion springs.

Works nice and even shoots
