Press Bar Shims for Habor Freight 20 Ton Press

These shims fit on the ends of the press bar (bar that jack bolts to) to get ride of 80% of the slop.
The end portion of the shim is 1/8 inch thick, the sides are 1/16 inch.
A set of these worked on the HF press I purchased 4/25, however there is a lot of slop and variations in these presses from one to the next so no promise they will work on your press. If you have an STL editor you could vary the thickness to fit your press.
To install it's best to remove the bar and use some THIN double sided tape, or adhesive to attach them to the ends of the bar and then reinstall. If the tape or adhesive is too thick it will interfere with the fit of the shims.
The bar may be a bit more difficult to reinstall as you have less clearance to tilt it into place, a few taps and it will usually fall into place.
Print in PETG if possible to add a bit of flexibility and lubricant resistance. PLA will work but I don't know how long it will hold up to oil.
Print with the Flange down and use brims to aid with adherence to the bed.
