The rubber caps coming with my SVBony 3-8mm Zoom eyepiece had two drawbacks:
One: The one on the 1.25" barrel kept falling off in warm condigitions.
Two: The one on the eyeguard wouldn't fit with the eyeguard folded down.
So I created my own - the one on the 1.25" barrel should fit on anything with that barrel, of course. Guess there are hundreds of thingies already...
The one on the eyegoard has two diametres so it will fit with eyeguard up and down as well. With one drawback: Now it likes to become stuck in the 45mm TwistPpack i'm using to store the eyepiece.
Having a 'brilliant' idea I used glow in the dark TPU which works so well that the light from the covers disturbs dark adaption. Better use yellow or white TPU if you regularly search your lawn for dropped covers...
