Magnetic Paddle Shifter Mod for Fanatec Clubsport Formula Wheel (V1/V2)

Made for my V1, but the V2 has the same pedal assembly so it will also work.

L/R applies if you have your pedals swapped (left <-> right, which I highly recommend). Otherwise just use "R" on the left and vice versa.

Magnets needed: 10 mm x 10 mm x 3.5 mm Neodynium magnets

Hints:

• Print on the thin flat side.
• Pedal-side part should be added below the pedal. Remove the anyways useless "spring-washer" and use the original screws (still use the bigger, actually useful washer).

No additional parts are needed, optional:

• 2-4 x M3 screw can be added to secure the Wheel-side mounting in it's rotation. Any length will work for these, I use x8 and would recommend to do the same or shorter.
• An additional magnet can be added on top of the first one on the wheel-side to increase the strength (as done in photos)
• You can glue the magnets in place but with the right print settings they hold just fine (and anyways hold each other)

Photos attached are of an almost-final prototype, more to show where to put things than showcase the print. Quality will hopefully be better if you use non-prototyping settings and have your printer dialled in ;)

Printed mine PETG and would recommend that, more stiffness and sturdiness. PLA should work just fine though.
