Line Stencils (Standard & Wide Ruled | Horizontal & Vertical) For 3.5x5.5 Pocket Notebooks/Journals

These are various line stencils for 3.5"x5.5" pocket notebooks. These work for many low-cost notebooks, but also work for Field Notes and Moleskine.

I measured a notebook I have with "standard rule" lines and one that has "wide rule" lines. This gave me 6mm between lines for standard and 9mm between lines for wide. So, that's how I designed the stencils.

If you draw the lines in one direction and then use the rotated stencil for the other direction, you'll create a grid. Using both sides for different sets of lines in each direction can give you rectangular cells, thus creating a table (spreadsheet). Create lines in one direction and then one or two lines in the other, and you'll have a boxed checklist.

With these four stencils, your blank notebook can have lines on some pages, wider lines on other pages, blank pages, grid pages, checklist pages, or mixes of all on a single page, as you like, and placed as you want.

These are on my TinkerCAD profile as public designs you can tinker to suit your needs. https://www.tinkercad.com/users/gEfJm2CRHZS
