Tools for Pentair Sta-Rite Stage Three pool filter

These are two wrenches for opening the specialized fittings on Pentair Sta-Rite pool filter (Stage Three model).

1. Clamp knob wrench. This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4892603/files. It was originally modelled for used with a 1/2 inch impact wrench. I modified for manual use by adding a handle and a separate knob. The knob is optional and is sized to attach with 1/4 inch bolt. I printed in ABS with 70% infill but that is just a guess. It seems pretty strong and will certainly tighten the knobs more than I could hand tighten previously. I"d recommend ABS or similar if you will be leaving this outside or in a shed as PLA will deform in the heat.
   Orientation:
   Print the wrench with the socket facing up. No supports.
   Print the knob with the recess facing up. Supports are required due to the curvature overhang.
   This was a quick modelling job so the edges are sharp. You may want to sand down or otherwise smooth the edges of the handle.

2. Drain plug wrench. This is a new design for removing the white plastic drain plug on the rear of the filter. As above, I printed in ABS with 70% infill. Orientation: I printed with the recess facing up and with supports for the curvature of the handle.
