Ryobi Power 4 Laser Pointer
I'm not sure if this counts as a remix but I figure I have used this design as a basis of part of mine.
Where I work the Pallet wrapper is used constantly throughout the day.
Once wrapped, I need the dimension of the finished pallet for transport documentation.
The wrapper has a vertical height scale but it is very difficult to read the height accurately as this is nearly a meter away from the pallet.
I designed this device to mount on the back of the switch carriage and shine a horizontal laser beam at the pallet.
This will allow me to set the wrap height and also read the pallet height of the vertical scale.
As I used Ryobi 18v battery tools I figured it would be easiest to use on of the spare batteries to power the laser when needed.
The net result is this print. I have incorporated components already designed by other makers.
Thankyou to Sunookitsune ( https://www.thingiverse.com/sunookitsune/designs ) for the Ryobi Battery DC Power Jack ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4161679 )
Thankyou BennyBlanco ( https://www.thingiverse.com/bennyblanco/designs ) for the laser pointer holder nerf ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1479074 )
Incorporating these parts I was able to design in Tinker Cad ( https://www.tinkercad.com/dashboard ) the piece I needed.
Printed on a Creality K1 C, Generic PLA, 3 Wall loops, 20% infill
