Stealth's Beer Crate Battery Carriers

heavily inspired by Marzochi's offering. Since getting into the RC hobby, rechargeable AA and AAA batteries have been needed for various things and I wanted a way to keep them neatly stored. My gripe with Marzochi's crates was the need to glue the rim on which made them stackable. While similar in appearance and loosely in dimensions, I made these from scratch in CAD myself. I'm not so good with the rib-supports yet and did everything here manually lol

Here are a pair of less pretty but equally functional crates that have stacking inherent to the design. I may create a lid for these and tune the clutch power of the stacking mechanism if demand for those things arises - I think a set of monolithic crates for batteries that can be assembled into a self-supporting, self-contained structure would be a neat pursuit. If demand also exists, I will generate more varieties for more batteries like 9v and 18650 (just like Marzochi did). For now, I think the AA and AAA was enough to push out.
