Cosplay ponytail wig
Ponytail adapter for a cosplay wig. Comes with base that goes under the wig, and a slide on cap with a pin to keep them together.
This is designed to go under a cosplay wig so you don't have to make a hard shell glue wig. You print the ponytail base, heat the arms up with a hairdryer, then lay it on your head to shape it to your head. I recommend printing the ponytail base with 99% infill on the arms and bottom of the cylinder so they don't break. The rest of the cylinder can be 20%. The holes on the arms are tie downs for fishing line to tie the ponytail base to your wig. You would cut a hole for the cylinder to go through in your wig. I recommend sewing something strong (like a 1 in strip of fuzzy velcro) to tie the top tie down to since it'll be experiencing the most force.
You can use the ponytail cap to glue hair to, but if you can use EVA foam or Styrofoam instead, that would be better so there's less weight to balance on your wig. I included a pin since that'll be lighter than a metal screw to connect the two pieces.
I included versions without any holes in case you want to drill your own. Just be sure to leave room for the hair in between the cap and the wig like I did.
