Rock Band Drum pad

This replacement part is designed to be stronger and more durable than the original Rock Band drum pad.

I printed this upright or face down using PLA+ at 40% honey comb infill, and it has held up great under regular use. The current version fits the 2-post spring retainer, but it can be adapted for the 4-post version by simply drilling additional holes as needed.

Some light cleanup may be required after printing—mainly re-drilling the mounting holes for a perfect fit if printed upright or removing a large flat layer of support on the face if printed face down. When printing face down it gives the face some texture in order for the rubber / felt pad to grip the part requiring little to no glue.

This is still a work in progress, so I’ll update the design if I discover any issues or make improvements.
