Toyota Pickup 1992 fuse holder
I melted the fuse holder with a bootleg amazon 80 amp fuse and had to make another one.
this is design to reuse the brass fittings from the original. For whatever reason i had a normal nut mixed in with the OEM fittings. if you dont have those fittings it wouldnt be a big deal to remix this for the appropriate hex nuts.
the fittings are not the same on both sides. one is 12mm wide and the other 13mm. make sure to measure the openings when pressing the fitting in (you can do it with a screwdriver and your fist)
Don't print in carbon fiber as that can defeat the purpose of the fuse as its somewhat conductive, any CF mix is a bad idea.
print in something higher temp as its going in the engine bay, no need to go crazy though as it sits in abs box. I did print ASA though and it shrunk so much it was a massive pain to get the fittings from the original into it. The PLA prototypes and the PET-CF one I printed all fit the fittings without issue though.
every wall is about 1mm so you might as well print it 100% infill or more than 4 walls at .2 layer height
i printed these at 45 degrees which minimizes supports and they're easy to clean that way but do whatever works. I thought about printing with supports where the fuse goes in initially.
they don't sell these separate of the fusebox btw. this is all you got.
