Valve Timing Tool

Based on the original BMW timing tool (BMW 110772). Suitable for BMW motorcycles: K46, K47, and K49.

Instructions

1. Print Part A
   This part is used to check the valve timing.
   • If it fits easily, no adjustment is needed.
   • Do not apply force when inserting it.
2. If Part A doesn’t fit
   The timing is incorrect.
   • Print Part B, which is used for adjusting the timing.
   • Loosen and rotate the camshafts until Part B fits properly.
3. Optional
   • You can print a camshaft clamp to protect the camshafts when using channel locks for rotation.

⚠️ Important: Always refer to the service manual before making any valve timing adjustments.

Print with backside (no text side) down. No supports needed. Part A PLA or PETG. Part B PETG. 15% infill.
