Isocahedron
Design Concept
This geometric design is crafted in the shape of an icosahedron with interlocking pieces. The project consists of only two objects, the equilateral triangle and the angled connector. You'll need 20 of triangles and 30 of the connectors, then join them all together. Getting the last connection made will be a bit tricky, but not too bad.
Printing Recommendations
Utilize a dual-extrusion 3D printer to capture the contrast between the pieces (or print them out separately with different filaments like I did). A layer height of 0.2mm is recommended to ensure detail and fit. Use PLA material for its balanced durability and ease of use.
Assembly Instructions
Carefully align the pieces by matching the connecting slot shapes. Gently press together to form the complete icosahedral shape. Ensure all corners are firmly snapped into place for a stable configuration.
