Lifesize Kopaka Bionicle mask
I wanted to make it life-size and wearable, so I did. I printed this at 0.2mm, with Mostly Hatchbox PLA.
I blew it up to the size my head, carved out a crevice in the middle for my nose (which may or may not need some more work still) and cut it into segments ahead of time for printing. I should note that it ate nearly the entire roll of filament, so unless you're confident and you won't have any issues, set up the print model parts in different colors, since you will want to add superglue, sand ing and paint over it. tree supports are incredibly vital in this as well, you'll have a a lot of complex shapes.
Included are several unfished concepts for the lenses to detached, in case you want to see out of them or add anything like cameras, lasers, or even a better lens.
Everything works well, the eye holes already will naturally line up perfectly, and you can see pretty decently, wel, at least straight ahead. Also reinforce whatever you will use to tie it onto your head - it will get heavy really fast.
