Vented PiKVM Case
Vented Case for "PiKVM v2"
The Case for Raspberry Pi 4 based PiKVM v2.
Original design
The case is a modified version of the following project:
List of changes
This project is based on the forked version of the original PiKVM. List of major changes:
- Ditched fan mount for passive cooling, added holes for open air design.
- The project is now compatible with both CSI bridge sizes.
Required hardware
This is a list of hardware needed to complete the setup:
- Type-C Power Splitter
- 0.91" 0.96" inch OLED LCD Display Module
- M3x20 screws set
- Raspberry Pi 4
- HDMI to CSI-2 bridge based on TC358743 (Note: Various sizes accepted)
CSI bridge selection
The v1 accepts only 30mm CSI bridges.
The v2 introduced an adapter mechanism; both 30mm and 35mm bridges are compatible, but require printing an adapter. This feature was carried over to the later versions.
List of parts to print
What needs to be printed:
- Both front and back case assemblies
- For v2 and later: adapter for either 30mm or 35mm wide CSI bridge.
Notes:
- The adapters shall be printed flat, as tolerances were adjusted for that position.
- Always print the newest version of the case and the adapters.
- The stl files that are not in a
.ziparchive shall always be the recent version.
