Cryo-EM Grids, 50x scale, Different Mesh Sizes

50x scale of cryo-EM grids with 200, 300, and 400 mesh. Aluminum foil (heavy duty or 2 sheets of normal-duty) is approximately to scale for Au foil on the grids that are 50x in the x- and y- directions and 500x in the z-direction. See images of calculations for original dimensions and scaling. Note that heights are approximate; although mesh height gets thinner as mesh size increases and approximate ranges of mesh heights are known, there are no quantitative measurements available for exact mesh height and/or standard deviation of that height.
