2007 Ranger Rear Pod Bracket
This is a rear facing pod light bracket that I made for my 2007 Ford Ranger. I'm not sure what other year's it'll fit but I'm sure it'll at least be all facelift years. I'm not sure about pre facelift/other generations.
I made it out of ASA for some level of weather resistance. My first version was made out of PLA and it did last a season, they didn't last two. So I do recommend using something better than that. I printed it in the orientation of the pod mounting face to the bed. It keeps supports to a minimum and while this does add some weakness when tightening the bracket down, you just have to not over torque it and only give it what it needs.
It is made to mount to the bed with a single 1/2" nut inside the part and a bolt from the outside. I used some tape to hold the nuts on mine when installing them.
The top hole is for a 3/8" rod which is what my lights were. There is also a version of the file I uploaded that just has a 1/8" hole that you can use to be essentially a pilot hole and drill out to whatever diameter you need. This was actually what I did for my first version in PLA.
For settings I would use at least 3 walls but ideally 4 with a little denser infill than you would normally use and possibly even more bottom layers to make the mounting face a bit beefier.
